Our Activities

GAAH sees the fight against hunger and food insecurity as a global effort.

Our continued promotion of global partnership in this endeavour is held in high esteem. We continue to fraternize with the international alliance against Hunger, the US Alliance to end Hunger, the Food and Agriculture Orgainzation (FAO) and other allied international organizations that are committed to the fight against hunger. At the national level, we see national partnership building in the course of our work and social commitment to fight hunger. We continue to organize meetings and conferences at the national and community levels to advance our course.

GAAH is also committed to the establishment of intiatives that embraces collective effort to fight hunger and this normally yields fruitful interventions to help farmers and also lead to the creation of food surpluses. With respect to this, GAAH continue to support school feeding initiatives in Ghana, create and scale up foodbanks in some communities in Ghana and together with its allies extend farming technology to small scale farmers.

With respect to foodbanking, GAAH has established the Ghana Food Aid Network to create foodbanks, manage foodbanks and source food from “everywhere for hungry children”. Ghana Food Aid Network’s website is connected here. GAAH continues to document and organize agricultural events and provide the requisite knowledge on government food policies to small scale farmers majority of whom are illiterate through the respective farmer based orgainzations (FBOs).
